Inspirational Spectrum Heroes, or ISH for short, was founded 2018. It was a dream for many years of Marsha Easley, the founder and CEO, to start a foundation that will benefit the families in Michigan, and hopefully all over the world.
After attending and volunteering for several organizations in the California area that raised funds for Autism, she was inspired to bring some of these same resources and ideas to Michigan...to help the underserved areas in her surrounding communities.
Ms Easley has a son that was diagnosed with Autism over 30 years ago, and had to take upon herself to get the resources necessary in order for her son to become a successful and independent person. He is now living in his own home with roommates in a staff supported house. He is working and thriving, and looking at his future with optimism.
Marsha's main concern is, "what is going to happen to him and others like him, when we are gone?" This has spurred her into looking at legal remedies and alliances, so that her son's future will be secured and plans on sharing the information and resources with others.
